With years of experience in dealing with these applications which are filed with the Form FLR-FP we advised our client on the documents which he would need for his application.
His main concern was the waiting time on decisions for these applications as he had a business trip which he needed to make.
As such we advised our client to apply under the priority service which meant that he would have to pay an additional £800 for a next day decision.
After preparing and filing his application we found him the nearest and the earliest appointment at the UKVCAS appointment centre located in Manchester.
From the point of instruction to the point of our client attending his appointment at the Home Office it was 10 days, it was a further one day before we had his decision in our inbox to inform of him of the successful outcome of his case.

As part of the application we highlighted to the Home Office that our client was seeking to rely on the fact that he did have a British child as well as his British spouse, we therefore demonstrated why it was in the best interest of the child that our client is granted his leave to remain in the UK and that it was important that Section 55 of the Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Act 2009 was taken into account when reaching a decision.
The Result - Successful Partner Route Extension Application
Our client was finally granted his leave to remain in the UK for a period of 30 months on the ten year partner route under paragraphs DLTRP1.2. of Appendix FM to the Immigration Rules, as we had helped our client satisfy the Home Office that he met the requirements of paragraphs R-LTRP1.1.(a), (b) and (d) of the Immigration Rules.
He now continues to reside in the UK and has been informed of his requirements to pass his Life in the UK Test and English Language Test at Level B1 ahead of his ILR application under the ten year partner route in early 2023.
